EA have issued a warning about Thames flow conditions at Henley for the Royal Regatta. The Regatta takes place between 27 June and 7 July.
EA say persistent rainfall in recent weeks has resulted in strong stream conditions throughout the non-tidal Thames. For a number of days in succession streams were so strong that navigation became dangerous.
Streams are now returning to normal, but further rainfall is expected in the next week which may well see stronger streams return to the river. This may have implications for you if you are planning to operate at this year’s Henley Royal Regatta.
You can read the full text of the warning here.
