Cost cutting threatens residency of Thames lock keepers
The Environment Agency (EA) are intending to go back on their 2008 agreement to keep resident lock keepers at all 45 Thames locks.
Ribble Link draughts 2012
BW have recently decided that they ought to be enforcing their draught limits on the Ribble Link from 2012 onwards. Up to the present, the published limit has been 2 foot, but this has not been checked.
