The Environment Agency is investing more than £1 million this autumn and winter as part of a programme of works to maintain and replace navigation structures on the River Thames. The investment is needed to maintain the River Thames as a reliable navigation for boaters and all visitors to enjoy safely. Listed below are the locks that will be closed during the 2015 to 2016 investment programme.
The locks will be closed from the first date listed and will re-open on the day after the final date.
St John's Lock 2 November 2015 to 4 March 2016
