Boat Fire Safety Week 2014: Top 10 Tips to stay alive
During Boat Fire Safety Week 2014 (26-30 May), the national campaign by Fire Kills and the Boat Safety Scheme (BSS), boat owners are being asked to pass on tips from the BSS website and leaflets that help skippers and their crews to stay safe from fire and carbon monoxide (CO) risks.
CRT’s Winter Stoppages – 2014/15 consultation
Each winter, CRT takes the opportunity of reduced cruising activity to concentrate effort on essential repairs and maintenance to the canals. Once again they are inviting us to review the provisional plans prepared by their local works planners and comment on the plans, helping them to minimise disruption.

Leeds Boaters Meeting with CEO Mar 2014
The was held on Thursday 13.3.2014 evening at the CRT offices, Fearns Wharf, Leeds. I attended on behalf of NABO together with around 60 other boaters and the meeting followed the usual pattern with the CRT NE Waterway Manager – Jon Horsfall – as host.
